purchased by the Apple company for $ 400 millionThe software is available for
macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS as well as other platforms
According to the
CEO in December 2013 Shazam was one of the top ten most popular apps in the
world. As of August 2014 the Shazam app had over 100 million monthly users and
was used on over 500 million mobile devicesIn October 2014 Shazam announced
that its technology was being used to detect 15 billion songs In October 2016
Shazam announced that its mobile apps had been downloaded over 1 million times
and that users had performed over 30 billion "Shazams" since launch.

 

Apple bought Shazam
for $ 400 million in 2017
